During SOFA (Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía), one of Bogotá’s most renowned pop culture and entertainment events, students from the BodyPainting program at Lasalle College captivated audiences with four stunning works of art.
The live bodypainting performances brought to life some of the most iconic characters from the Marvel and DC universes, including a striking Flash, a powerful Black Panther, a mysterious White Spiderwoman, and another remarkable Marvel character. Each piece was meticulously crafted, highlighting the students’ mastery of technique, creativity, and attention to detail.
This participation not only showcased the artistic and technical talent of Lasalle College’s students but also celebrated their ability to merge pop culture with contemporary art. Their work became a focal point of admiration at SOFA, engaging visitors and demonstrating how bodypainting can transform the human body into a living, breathing canvas.
