Psylocke is a comic book character who appears in publications from Marvel Comics. Her real name is Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock, and she is known for being a mutant with psychic abilities and skills in hand-to-hand combat. Betsy Braddock was initially introduced as the sister of Brian Braddock, also known as Captain Britain. Throughout her history, Betsy has undergone a number of changes and evolutions in her powers and appearance. One of the most significant changes occurred when her mind was transferred into the body of a Japanese assassin named Kwannon, resulting in a physical transformation and the adoption of the identity of Psylocke.
