Carnage is a fictional comic book character that appears in publications from Marvel Comics. He first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #360 in 1992. Carnage is a villain and the alter-ego of Cletus Kasady, a psychotic serial killer who becomes bonded with an alien symbiote similar to the one that Spider-Man wore to become Venom. Carnage is often portrayed as a violent and sadistic killer, with powers and abilities that are similar to those of Venom. He can shape his symbiote into a variety of weapons, including axes, blades, and tendrils. He also has superhuman strength, agility, and durability, as well as the ability to stick to surfaces and regenerate from injuries.
